About me
I’m Richard, the founder of Waypoint Accounting. After over a decade working in industry as a Management Accountant, I’ve taken the step into practice as a CIMA Member in Practice (MiP). My background means I bring not only technical accounting knowledge but also real-world experience of how finance works inside a business.At Waypoint Accounting, I currently offer bookkeeping, VAT returns, compliance and statutory filings, payroll, tax, and year end accounts preparation.Looking ahead, I’ll also be rolling out management accounts and fractional Finance Director services — designed to give growing businesses the insight and financial leadership they need.I aim to keep things clear, practical, and approachable, so you can focus on running your business while I take care of the finances.Anyone joining me now as a client will become a founding partner. You’ll lock in preferential rates, plus enjoy an additional first-year discount as a thank you for your early support.Outside of accounting, I’m usually outdoors — hiking, wild camping, or stand-up paddleboarding.
